The Twitter Files

If you’re not on Twitter, now led by Elon Musk, you might not have heard about the release of part 1 of the Twitter files on 12.02.22. The short synopsis is: the government of the United States, charged with protecting and defending the constitution, has been colluding with tech companies to abridge our fundamental right to free speech and interfere with elections. If this doesn’t shake the very foundation of what you believe this country is supposed to stand for, then you’re missing the message and need to wake up.
I consider myself apolitical mainly because I’ve come to understand politics is just a dramatically produced play acted out on the public stage with the politicians as the washed-up actors. The people writing the story aren’t the faces you see reading the lines.
Sixteen years after the Declaration of Independence of the United States, the founding fathers believed a bill of rights was necessary to never again fall into the rut of an authoritarian or monarchical power. The first amendment to that constitution reads as follows: “Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press, or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances.”
What we know from the Twitter files is that not only is the government working to dismantle free speech, but according to a letter from Carl Szabo of the research firm NetChoice, “The Democrats were in agreement: social media needs to moderate more because they're [conservatives] corrupting democracy and making all ‘truth’ relative. When pushed on how the government might insist on that, consistent with the First Amendment, they demurred: ‘the First Amendment isn't absolute.’” For some time now, people (mostly aligned to the right of the political spectrum) have been cautioning everyone about the idea that those in the government are decimating freedom of speech, and now it seems there is irrefutable proof.

So what makes this story so important? The Biden team worked with Twitter to bury and disavow the story posted by the New York Post on 10.14.22 of the contents of Joe Biden’s son Hunter Biden’s personal laptop that was left at a computer repair shop in Delaware in April 2019. The news article details how Hunter introduced his Dad (who was VP at the time) to a top executive at Ukrainian energy firm Burisma less than a year before Joe Biden pressured government officials in Ukraine into firing a prosecutor who was investigating the company. The same firm where Hunter was receiving $50,000 a month for being on their board of directors.
At the time, White House press secretary Kaleigh McEnany retweeted the Post article and was suspended from Twitter until she deleted the tweet. Executives at Twitter decided to block the story from being shared and distributed. Mike Hahn, a Trump campaign staffer, emailed his contacts at Twitter furious over the suspension, with good reason. Kaleigh McEnany was a government official at the time and the spokesperson for the PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES. They would not reinstate her account until she deleted the tweet.

Shortly after the laptop story broke, 50 former intelligence officials signed a letter stating the laptop was a Russian disinformation campaign without ever seeing the device. The icing on the cake is that we now have unimpeachable proof from a third-party source who examined the copy of the laptop's hard drive and determined it to be legitimate. The FBI had the laptop by December 2019, a full 11 months before the 2020 Presidental election. Surely the FBI, the preeminent law enforcement agency, had enough time to determine the veracity of the contents of the computer and make the appropriate arrests as a matter of national security before the election—right?
Wrong...apparently. No arrests have been made, and Joe Biden is still the resident at 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue.
The Biden campaign, with no legal authority or precedent, actively engaged in the suppression of free speech aided by Twitter and thereby interfered with the presidential election.

Let me be clear—if you’ve been living with your head in the sheets hiding from your cognitive dissonance, you need to shed the yoke of your delirium and start preparing for the next chapter in this story. The highest echelons of government have fallen and no longer answer to the people. The, as yet, unknown puppet masters pulling the strings behind the scenes are slowly being revealed and won’t go out gracefully.
As we’ve talked about on this website so many times before—our society is on the decline. The news of the government suppressing and outright targeting free speech shouldn’t come as a surprise. But for so many that have grown up believing the fairytale that the United States is the last great bastion of freedom and human rights—I’m sorry to ruin the illusion that’s been there to comfort you, but you need to understand the truth of reality. The system is well and truly breaking, but there is still time to reorient our society to one of simplified living and sustainable communities. We just need enough people to wake up and choose to change.
Buckle up because this is just the beginning.
